Bluegrass Festival

It’s that time of year again, the annual Bluegrass Festival at North Bend State Park! Bring your family and friends and come out for a fun filled weekend of pickin’, pluckin’, and singin’.

Bluegrass bands from throughout the wild and wonderful state of West Virginia will be performing. Lose yourself in the rhythm of the music and traditional sounds of our Appalachian heritage.

Set in the picturesque Amphitheatre nestled in the hills of Ritchie County, this festival will really get your toes tapping and your hands clapping.

Local Artisans

During the festival shop the displays of local WV artisans and find a special souvenir to take home. Performing bands will also have merchandise for sale. Take home a CD of your favorite band!

Festival Food

Throughout the festival enjoy snacks, grilled hot dogs and hamburgers, and drinks from the North Bend Outdoor Grill.

Directions

North Bend State Park is easily accessible from U.S. 50, a four lane highway stretching west to east from Parkersburg to Clarksburg,

West Virginia.

Driving EAST, take U.S. 50 to the junction of WV Route 31 to Cairo and follow the signs to the park. Driving WEST, take U.S. 50 to WV Route 16 (Harrisville) and follow the signs to the park. Consult your highway map for further details.

Seating is provided by North Bend State Park, but feel free to bring your own lawn or camp chairs.

In the case of inclement weather, the Bluegrass Festival bands will perform under Shelter 3, the picnic shelter adjacent to the Amphitheatre.
